A gift of God is realizing that God gifts us on a daily basis!

Its funny how God sometimes speaks to us when we least expect it. As I was waiting in the line in TJ this week, I overheard two ladies arguing about the reality of today's world. One was complaining about how everything is lacking in morals and how nobody seemed to care about discipline anymore. The other agreed but stated that she didn't worry about anything because the end-times were here and Jesus was coming. According to her, there was no need to change anything. Jesus would. What got me thinking was the fact that while we may be waiting for Christ, it is not enough to just sit and do nothing. As Christians, our faith teaches us that we live what we believe. Its inherent to who we are. It is never enough to only expect Jesus to change everything, Jesus has entrusted us to start making the changes. We, enflamed with the HS, are sent to all the world and commissioned to go out. As we do, we proclaim the change that come in Christ, and we build the kingdom of God. There, where the last are first, where the blind see, and where death becomes a stepping stone not a fence. A place where bread and wine obecome Him whom we are called to become as, a place where Christ is seen in us, and where we don't wait for Him to do everything, but together everything is in our hands... for now!
